Early Detection Health 10-Screening Package

  1. Echocardiogram – Evaluates heart function to detect early signs of heart disease.
  2. Cartoid Ultrasound – Detects early signs of stroke.
  3. Aortic Aneurysm Screening – Abdominal aorta aneurysm prevention.
  4. Liver Ultrasound – Identifies liver cancer.
  5. Kidney Ultrasound – Detects abnormalities in the kidneys.
  6. Pancreas Ultrasound – Spots signs of pancreatic cancer.
  7. Gallbladder Ultrasound – Examines cancerous structures in the gallbladder.
  8. Spleen Ultrasound – Identifies spleen cancer.
  9. Thyroid Ultrasound – Detects thyroid cancer.
  10. Colon Cancer Screening– At home test with immediate results.

COST OF SCREENING PACKAGE

The screening package is $350 for sworn officers; however, it is eligible for reimbursement through the LAPD Wellness Reimbursement Program. Please refer to the Wellness Grant Guidelines.

IMPORTANT:

In order to be reimbursed for the screenings, you must submit your Wellness Reimbursement Application and Wellness Pre-Survey by March 10, 2025.

DATE, TIMES, LOCATIONS

The screenings will be scheduled beginning in April through September 2025. Specific dates, time and locations to be announced soon and you will then be able to make an online reservation.
